Service Benefits

BMW Mobility Service includes the following benefits (Thailand region only) :

  • An unlimited number of Emergency Roadside Services within the coverage period.
  • An unlimited number of towing services within the coverage period.
  • Free towing to the nearest BMW Motorrad authorized dealer with no limitation on distance
  • Free towing up to a distance of 20 km to any alternative destination applies for each service.  A charge of THB 25 per km is applicable for distances beyond this and charges from any additional kilometers are the member’s responsibility.
  • Free arrangement of petrol up to 10 litres per time to enable an
    ‘out of fuel’ nominated vehicle to be driven to the nearest petrol station. The cost of petrol will be charged to owner or driver.
  • 24 hour access to free technical advice in the event of an accident or breakdown.

Medical Assistance (in the event of vehicle accident in Thailand)

Medical Assistance (in the event of vehicle accident in Thailand)

  • Evacuation/ repatriation to a suitable medical facility nearest to the member’s usual place of residence in Thailand.
  • Evacuation to the nearest suitable hospital, in the event that the Member is hospitalized in a facility that is not capable of providing the appropriate level of care. Any decision to evacuate the Member will be at the discretion of the BMW Motorrad Mobility Service Centre medical director, in consultation with the treating Physician)
  • Repatriation of the Member’s immediate family in the event that the Member is involved in a medical evacuation/ repatriation
  • Repatriation of mortal remains to the member’s usual place of residence within Thailand

 

Remark: The Medical Assistance Services are restricted to the arrangement and coordination of services. The cost of repatriation & evacuation remain the responsibility of the member.

Service Guidelines

  1. Any problem resulting from an accident and natural disaster is not covered under this program.
  2. Any expenses incurred without the prior authorisation of BMW Motorrad Mobility Service Centre.
  3. Expenses which would normally have been paid by the rider, such as petrol, expressway charges and ferry charges.
  4. The cost of replacement parts, fuels and lubricants.
  5. Any costs resulting from participation in motor racing, rallies, speed or duration tests.
  6. Additional charges for the towing of motorcycle, which have been altered to the extent that they required for the towing of an unaltered motorcycle, are the responsibility of the rider.
  7. Any costs resulting from your motorcycle being kept in an unroadworthy condition. If the rider continually fails to keep their motorcycle in a roadworthy condition, then BMW Motorrad Mobility Service reserve the right to revoke the rider’s coverage.
  8. Any costs associated with providing assistance to motorcycle that are registered as “Commercial” and which are primarily used for commercial purposes i.e. Taxi, carrying goods.
  9. Any costs resulting from your being under the influence of intoxicating liquor, solvent abuse or drugs.
